I think I have InBoxer installed correctly, but I am still getting all my spam. What might be wrong?

If you selected Express Setup, InBoxer will have made all of the recommended choices automatically. If you did not select Express Setup or if you ran setup a second time, it is possible that you selected options or a combination of settings that do not work.

Our first suggestion is to run the Express Setup from the InBoxer pull-down menu by choosing Advanced and Setup Wizard. This should automatically create the needed folders and buttons. If you do not see these folders or buttons, please submit a Support request.

If, after running Express Setup, you are not confident that the program is working, we recommend that you determine if there are messages in your InBoxer-Review folder that you have not reviewed. If so, then the InBoxer may not be learning your preferences. Review your folder and decide if you want to Keep or Block these messages by clicking the toolbar buttons.

Finally, print out a list of domains and addresses that you may have Trusted by selecting InBoxer --> Trust... --> Show Sender List. You may discover that you have trusted entire domains that should not be trusted. For example, if the domain AOL.COM is on your Trusted Senders list, then all mail sent by anyone with an address that includes AOL.COM will be delivered to you. Spammers also trick filters by impersonating senders from trusted domains. This is known as "spoofing."
